Welcome

Minnesota Dietetic Association (MDA) is an affiliate of the American Dietetic Association.  Currently, there are approximately 1600 members.  

Membership is limited to Registered Dietitians (RDs), and Diet Technicians, Registered (DTRs), those eligible for these classifications, students, and retired members. 

Membership in MDA is granted automatically through your annual membership renewal in the American Dietetic Association.

The state is divided into five districts.  The Twin Cities District Dietetic Association (TCDDA) is the largest district within the Minnesota Dietetic Association.  The other districts are Northwest (NWDDA), Head of the Lakes (HLDDA), South Central (SCDDA) and Southeast (SEDDA).


If you are interested in meeting with a Registered Dietitian for Nutrition Therapy (weight management, food allergies, etc.), you can Find a Dietitian in your area using your zip code.

What's New

Visit your legislators at the State Fair! 

State legislators go to Minnesota's great get together too!  Over the course of the Fair, Minnesota House and Senate representatives are scheduled for "Meet and Greets" at the Legislature booth in the Education building on Cosgrove Street and Dan Patch Ave.  In addition to the opportunity to speak with House and Senate representatives, there is always a poll on timely policy topics and plenty of informational brochures.  And while you're at it stop by U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken booths on the Fair grounds.
