Welcome

Minnesota Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (MAND) is an affiliate of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics.  Currently, there are approximately 1700 members throughout the state.  

Membership is limited to Registered Dietitians (RDs), and Diet Technicians, Registered (DTRs), those eligible for these classifications, students, and retired members. 

Membership in MAND is granted automatically through annual membership renewal in The Academy.

The state is divided into five districts, Twin Cities, Northwest, Northeast, South Central and Southeast.


If you are interested in meeting with a Registered Dietitian for Nutrition Therapy (weight management, food allergies, etc.), you can Find a Dietitian in your area using your zip code.

 

 


 

What's New

The appointment of 15 nationally recognized experts to serve on the 2015 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee was recently announced. MAND member Mary Story, PhD, RD, was selected to serve on this prestigious committee, whose recommendations and rationale will serve as a basis for the eighth edition of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Congratulations, Mary!
