Monday, September 20, 2010 An All American Beef B-B-Q at the Minnesota Arboretum will be held on Monday, September 20. The late afternoon and evening includes: a guided tram tour, exploring the Arboretum grounds on your own and time in their gift shop.After dinner Dr. Mary C. Gannon along with Dr. Frank Q. Nuttall will present, “Dietary Management of Type 2 Diabetes”. The likelihood that diabetes will touch our lives or those of someone we know is increasing every day, largely due to the obesity epidemic. Discover some of the interesting research regarding diabetes being done right here in Minnesota by our speakers. Their research on Type 2 diabetes is helping understand this disease better and to find better ways to manage it.
Reservations are due to Gerry Luepke on Monday, September 13th.
