Please join us for our Spring MAND-TC Joint Education Event, “Out of the Box RDs: Unique Careers in Dietetics” worth 2 CEUs!
This event features a panel of three MSP Registered Dietitians with unique career paths that reach beyond clinical, community, and food service! They will discuss their career paths, the responsibilities of their current positions, and the nuances of their areas of specialization!
The event will be held in the Fireside Room of the Roseville Skating Center and there is FREE PARKING. Please note that there will be no food or beverage served at the event.
Andrea Potashnick, MS, RD/LD is a Registered Dietitian and mom of three young children. Through her private practice, Andrea’s vision is to be a valued, trusted and reliable resource on how to best ensure children grow up having a healthy relationship with food. She has worked with over a thousand families to create a healthier home environment. Andrea’s goals in life include: get completely caught up with laundry, go to Target and buy only what’s on her list, and get through an entire day without losing her cell phone. Emily Parenti, RD/LD holds a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Dietetics from Iowa State University. As a dietitian for Coborn’s and CobornsDelivers, Emily provides nutritional information and assistance to guests and employees through nutrition seminars and consults, cooking demonstrations, promotional materials and company-wide initiatives such as their employee bi-annual weight management program. Along with these responsibilities, Emily is also involved in innovations such as CobornsDelivers’ chef-inspired, dietitian-approved meal kits which won the Progressive Grocer Retail Dietitian Outstanding Innovation Award in 2017.
Ashley Moyna, MS, RD/LD, is a culinary dietitian with a passion for improving the human condition. Her areas of expertise include recipe development, food photography, teaching cooking classes, and intuitive eating education. Ashley has worked for Land O’ Lakes, McCormick Spices, and multiple start-ups. She is currently the head dietitian at Local Crate, a meal kit company that boxes up award-winning chefs, local farmers and passionate makers from around the Twin Cities. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys trying out new coffee shops, traveling, punning, and running, biking, walking, and occasionally skipping around the Lake of the Isles.
